After 6+ years of design, research and development, we are proud to offer this innovative product from our friends at Jbrosg here in Boise, ID. This allows you to run a spin-on oil filter right off of your oil pump on late generator Shovelhead and all cone Shovelhead engines. Any engine running the aluminum oil pump can accept this part. This solves the issue that many people have with a custom oil tank application and allows you to filter your oil directly out of the engine before returning to the oil tank. It also adds a backup oil filter for anyone running a stock tank with the commonly faulty oil filters in the tank. This is the same oil filtration cycle as a stock setup on Shovelheads that have the oil filter in the tank. For clearance and fitment, see below. 

Included: 1 Jbrosg aluminum oil filter adapter, 4 H-D threaded stainless allen bolts, 1 oil adapter gasket, 1 chrome spin-on oil filter and a whole lot of peace of mind.

Benefits: This adapter allows you to filter your oil, plain and simple. If you're familiar with building custom Harley's you know it's an eyesore to run an external oil filter somewhere on your frame, and for many people out there, the oil filter just gets eliminated. Don't do that to your engine! Filter that oil and save yourself a major headache. This can also be run in line with the stock oil filter in the oil tank or external oil filters, as a backup oil filter. Keep your oil clean and free of sludge, debris and metal. All of those things cause unnecessary wear on your engine and will wear it out much quicker, but also allow for the potential of catastrophic damage if you're unaware of metal floating around in your oil on a long ride, etc. 

Fitment: For those with a hardtail frame. If you have a crossover tube for a mechanical rear brake, this part will not clear that tube. This works best with a juice drum (hydraulic rear brake drum), a disc brake or a custom rear application. You will need 4 inches between your oil pump body and your transmission for this to fit with just enough clearance to fit your spin on oil filter in to install it. Will work with S&S replacement aluminum oil pumps. For after market cases, you have have minor clearance issues which can be easily solved with some filing of the actual adapter. The bolts we supply are either fine or coarse threaded dependent on your requirements. To check what thread you need, pull out the top right bolt on your oil pump cover for a tell.
